Mounting

Shutters are tailor-made for your home. There are different mounting possibilities. The most suitable method for you will depend on:
  • the space in the frame opening;
  • whether the frame is straight;
  • how the window or door is opened.

Inside mounting on the frame

The mounting bar to which the panels are attached is mounted on the frame. With this option, the shutter is mounted furthest back in the wall opening.

Inside mounting

For this solution, the mounting bar is attached to the inside wall. Even if walls are not entirely straight, this mounting method is a possibility.

Inside mounting with R-frame

Mounting with an R-frame is particularly suitable for tilt and turn windows and in situations where the window openings are not perfectly square. A frame all around your window opening will conceal any irregularities. The shutters are positioned as far forward as possible. This enables you to make optimum use of the window tilting function, even with the shutters closed.

Outside mounting

In situations where inside mounting is not possible, shutters can also be mounted outside the window opening. Although this is not the recommended method, the result is still very pleasing to the eye.
