A shutter consists of one or more panels in which louvers are mounted. You can choose from three louver widths:
The width that is best for you will depend on the size of your window opening and the atmosphere you wish to create. Generally speaking, the wider the panel the wider the louver and the more modern the overall look. It is possible to close off the light strip between two panels with an astragaal side stile. This provides even more light exclusion, and a feeling of privacy.

Jasno shutters are fitted as standard with a wooden operating tilt rod on the front. Using this rod, you can adjust the louvers up and down, until they are in the required position. This operating rod will underline the nostalgic character of the shutter.

You can also opt for the Clearview system. Using this system, the operating mechanism is mounted on the back of the louvers. To operate the mechanism, you tilt the louvers themselves. Clearview effectively gives a traditional shutter system a more contemporary look.

Electrical operation: the Remote shutter
|
It is also possible to adjust the louvers electrically, with a remote control device. For example for shutters that are difficult to reach or for extra comfort. You can of course still adjust the shutters manually with the operating tilt rod.
